1. Responsible provider and location

Dale Works, operated and administered from Mexico, is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy.

Dale Works administers its Services from Mexico. Information may be processed in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Ireland, and other countries where Shopify, payment processors, Google, communications providers, cloud providers, analytics providers, or other authorized service providers operate.

2. Scope and acknowledgement

This Policy applies when a person visits dale.works, submits a form, requests information, communicates with Dale Works, makes a purchase, participates in a course or recording, receives Remote Business Support, uses DaleJobs, or receives another Service.

By providing information, the person acknowledges this Policy and authorizes Dale Works to use the information for the requested inquiry, purchase, communication, and Service relationship as described below. Optional marketing and automated SMS uses remain subject to the consent or legal basis applicable to them.

3. Information collected directly

  • Name, email, telephone number, business name, role, preferred language, location, website, social profiles, service areas, and contact preferences.
  • Inquiry, project, support, appointment, proposal, scheduling, service, and communication details.
  • Business services, prices, claims, licenses, insurance, photographs, videos, logos, reviews, testimonials, documents, files, and approvals supplied for work.
  • Course enrollment, attendance, progress, questions, chat, account activity, certificate information, voice, image, and recording participation.
  • DaleJobs installation account, configuration, authorized users, and customer-provided project or document data.
  • Shipping address, recipient, print approval, and delivery information when a physical item is included.
  • Information voluntarily sent by email, telephone, SMS, forms, chat, video meeting, project system, or another channel.

4. Transaction and payment information

Dale Works and its providers may process the order number, selected product and variant, amount, tax, billing address, purchase option, payment status, subscription or Fixed Payment Plan status, invoices, refunds, disputes, fraud signals, and transaction identifiers.

Full payment-card details are normally collected and stored by Shopify, the payment processor, or the customer's financial institution, not by Dale Works. Dale Works may receive limited data such as card brand, last four digits, payment status, and processor reference.

5. Technical information, cookies, and similar technologies

  • IP address, browser, device, operating system, approximate location, referral source, pages, timestamps, interactions, cookie identifiers, analytics events, and security logs may be collected automatically.
  • Cookies and similar technologies may support language, forms, cart, checkout, account, security, performance, analytics, attribution, and advertising.
  • Where required, Dale Works will provide cookie choices, consent controls, a data-sharing opt-out page, or recognition of an applicable opt-out signal.
  • Disabling cookies can affect website, account, cart, form, language, or checkout functions.

6. How Dale Works uses information

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate about the request.
  • Prepare proposals, invoices, Purchase Records, schedules, accounts, and orders.
  • Provide, personalize, install, deliver, supervise, document, and support Services.
  • Request information, approval, verification, payment, scheduling, access, or customer action.
  • Create customer-approved websites, profiles, documents, content, designs, systems, campaigns, communications, and records.
  • Administer courses, attendance, recordings, certificates, materials, access periods, and support.
  • Administer Recurring Services, Initial Commitments, Fixed Payment Plans, cancellations, refunds, and collections.
  • Protect accounts, prevent fraud, investigate incidents, preserve evidence, enforce agreements, and comply with law.
  • Improve quality, accessibility, website performance, communications, security, and internal operations.
  • Send promotional email or other marketing only when Dale Works has the required permission or lawful basis and provides an opt-out.

7. Use of contact information to communicate

When a person provides an email address, telephone number, business contact, or other contact detail for an inquiry, purchase, appointment, course, or active Service, Dale Works may use it to respond, request missing information, send transactional and service updates, schedule, provide support, deliver notices, and administer the relationship.

This operational use does not permit Dale Works to sell the information or automatically enroll the person in unrelated promotional SMS.

8. Customer Care SMS

  • SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
  • Customer Care SMS may include inquiry confirmation, appointment coordination, follow-up, active-project updates, support, payment, or delivery information.
  • Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Dale Works will also honor another reasonable request to stop messages when required.
  • Dale Works does not purchase, rent, scrape, or use third-party lead lists for Customer Care SMS.
  • Mobile numbers, opt-in records, consent language, timestamps, source details, and STOP or HELP history are not sold, rented, traded, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Information supplied about other people

A customer may supply personal information about the customer's clients, employees, contractors, suppliers, leads, or other contacts for approved CRM, scheduling, marketing, website, administrative, communication, or service tasks.

  • The customer represents that the customer has a lawful basis, authority, and all required notices and permissions.
  • Dale Works uses that information only for the approved scope, security, legal compliance, and protection of rights.
  • The customer must not instruct Dale Works to contact people unlawfully or use purchased, scraped, misleading, or improperly obtained lists.
  • The customer remains responsible for the source, accuracy, legality, retention, and instructions governing customer-supplied records.

10. Sensitive and regulated information

Do not provide Social Security numbers, complete payment-card data, bank credentials, medical records, protected health information, immigration records, biometric data, government identification, children's data, or other highly sensitive or regulated information unless Dale Works expressly agrees in writing and appropriate contractual and security controls exist.

A general purchase does not create a HIPAA business associate agreement, financial-data agreement, biometric-data agreement, or other specialized regulated-data relationship.

11. No sale, rental, or resale of personal information

Dale Works does not sell, rent, trade, broker, or resell personal information, contact information, customer lists, mobile numbers, or SMS consent information to data brokers or unrelated third parties.

Dale Works also does not disclose mobile information or SMS consent data for third-party or affiliate marketing.

12. Limited disclosure to service providers and other recipients

Dale Works may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Shopify, Appstle, payment processors, banks, and fraud-prevention providers that process orders, scheduled charges, refunds, and payment security.
  • Google, cloud storage, email, telephone, SMS, CRM, videoconference, course, hosting, analytics, advertising, shipping, and technical providers used to operate and deliver Services.
  • Assigned specialists, collaborators, and contractors who need the information for approved work and are subject to confidentiality or limited-use requirements.
  • Professional advisors, insurers, auditors, or government authorities when reasonably necessary or legally required.
  • A successor in a merger, reorganization, financing, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable protection.
  • Another person or organization at the data subject's direction or with valid consent.

13. Advertising technologies and legally defined sharing

Dale Works does not sell personal information for money. Analytics, advertising pixels, audience tools, or Shopify settings may disclose website identifiers or activity to technology providers. Some privacy laws define certain advertising-related disclosures as “sharing” even when no money is paid.

Where required, Dale Works will provide an applicable opt-out mechanism. Customer-service records, payment details, project files, course participation, and SMS consent data are not provided for unrelated third-party behavioral marketing.

14. International processing

Because Dale Works operates from Mexico and uses international providers, personal information may cross national borders. Dale Works uses reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the Service and provider, while recognizing that no system or international transfer is completely risk-free.

15. Retention and deletion

  • Inquiry data is retained as reasonably necessary to respond, document consent, prevent abuse, and maintain records.
  • Orders, invoices, tax, payment, contract, cancellation, refund, fraud, and dispute records may be retained for legal, accounting, enforcement, and limitation periods.
  • Active-Service files are retained for the relationship and a reasonable period afterward, subject to storage limits and customer backup obligations.
  • SMS consent and opt-out records may be retained to demonstrate compliance.
  • Data may be deleted, anonymized, blocked, or archived when no longer necessary, or retained longer for law, security, litigation hold, another person's rights, or an unresolved dispute.

16. Security and credentials

  • Dale Works uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards.
  • The customer must use secure devices, strong passwords, multi-factor authentication when available, limited permissions, and timely access revocation.
  • Customers should use delegated access rather than sharing master passwords when supported.
  • No system is completely secure, and Dale Works cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • Dale Works will provide legally required incident notices when applicable.

17. Privacy rights and choices

Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have rights to access, rectify, cancel or delete, oppose or restrict, limit use or disclosure, obtain information, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing, or exercise other privacy rights.

Send a request to contact@dale.works with the person's name, contact information, relationship to Dale Works, requested action, and reasonable verification information.

Dale Works may deny or limit a request when retention or use is required by law, contract, security, fraud prevention, another person's rights, or an applicable exception. Withdrawing consent does not retroactively invalidate lawful prior processing.

18. Children

The website and Services are intended for adults and businesses. Dale Works does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under the age of majority without legally sufficient authorization.

19. Third-party websites and independent processing

Third-party websites, social networks, payment providers, customer-controlled accounts, and platforms have their own privacy practices. Dale Works is not responsible for a third party's independent processing.

20. Changes and contact

  • The customer must configure workflows so Dale Works receives only the minimum information needed for approved administrative tasks.
  • The customer must not place diagnoses, treatment information, legal strategy, privileged communications, investment instructions, trust-account details, complete payment information, government identification, protected educational records, or other highly sensitive regulated information in ordinary email, SMS, forms, CRM fields, or Dale Works systems unless a separate written data arrangement and safeguards are in place.
