What does the renewal service include?
We handle the full administrative process: check licenses and deadlines, file required company and local renewals, verify insurance, bonds and training, prepare and submit your contractor license renewal, answer agency requests and deliver official records. Includes one business, one state, one primary location and one license or classification.
When are the two payments due?
You pay $499.50 when you sign up and authorize the work. We complete preliminary updates, collect certificates and prepare your license renewal. We show you the documents and work completed; then you pay the remaining $499.50 before we submit the main renewal. We continue following the case until the agency responds and deliver the available confirmations.
What do you submit after the second payment?
In Oregon we submit the CCB renewal after checking the business registration, insurance, bond and applicable courses. In California we submit the CSLB renewal, online or on paper depending on the license. In Florida we submit the DBPR renewal during the applicable renewal window, once required credits and records are complete. State or local filings due earlier are handled during the first phase.
How early should I start my renewal?
We recommend starting 60–90 days before license expiration. We verify the official deadline and prepare the paperwork in advance, then file within the agency’s renewal window. In Oregon we aim to submit at least two weeks early; in California CSLB typically sends notice around 60 days early; in Florida we check the DBPR cycle and Sunbiz deadlines.
How long does the complete renewal take?
Once we have your information and authorizations, routine applications can usually be prepared in a few business days. Agency processing may take days or several weeks. Missing courses, insurance or corrections can add time. We keep you informed and verify the new expiration date before calling the work complete.
What if my license is already expired or suspended?
We check its official status, whether late renewal is available, required penalties and missing records. Oregon licenses expired more than two years may require a new application; California licenses expired over five years may also require a new license. Florida depends on delinquent versus null-and-void status. Unusual reinstatement work is quoted separately. Do not perform work that legally requires an active license until it is restored.
What do I need to do myself?
You provide accurate information, approve outside fees and personally sign documents when required. You complete any mandatory courses yourself and pay for insurance, bonds and government charges. With your permission, we request and check supporting records and include them in the filings.
Do I also pay government fees?
Yes. Our service fee covers our administrative work only. CCB, CSLB or DBPR charges, company and local filings, required courses, taxes, insurance and bonds are separate. We explain which costs apply and which fees or signatures are needed before the final license filing.
What happens after the second payment?
We submit the final application and give you the official receipt. If the agency requests clarification or identifies administrative errors in our filing, we respond and correct our work without an additional service charge. We check the license status and deliver the available confirmations and upcoming dates. Approval and processing time are controlled by the agency.
What if I do not pay the balance before my license expires?
We show you the prepared package and agree on a payment date that allows time to file before the official deadline. Without the balance, necessary government fees or required signatures, we cannot submit the final renewal. Delays may lead to late fees or an interruption in your license. If your deadline is too close, we assess that before accepting the case.
